Good News from Gallup

America’s confidence in US banks has rebounded to 26% from it 33 year low point of 21% last year. Not a stellar regaining of confidence from the pre-“great recession” level of 53% in 2004. Comparatively, banks are doing well by ranking 10th among US institutions (just ahead of Television News). Congress, not surprisingly, ranks 16th of 16.
